Video Games
Some of the best video games ever made can be found on this page. I really enjoy video games probably the most out of any other type, since video games often present a different way of thinking, often making a player realize a whole new perspective. In role-playing games (which are my favorite), they are also among some of the best storytelling in the world.
I'd like to make clear that the descriptions below are not written by me, they're from the booklets of the actual games themselves. I honestly didn't want to put so much time into making a description of my own for each game, especially when one can just Wiki or Google it. This area is just to give you an idea of what each game I love is about.
Final Fantasy X:
Spira. Once upon a time it was a world of prosperity, sustained by an advanced civilization of machina.
Then, one thousand years ago, "Sin" came. This immortal menace brought perennial destruction to the land and slowed advances to civilization. The teachings of Yevon offered solace to Spira's terrified people, but also forbade the use of machina. Still, most people were willing to sacrifice progress for a sense of security, and civilization eventually came to a standstill.
Summoners emerged as Spira's only hope.
They alone were able to stop Sin—if only for a little while.
On the day she becomes a summoner, Yuna a girl of seventeen, meets with Tidus. The young man claims to have come from Zanarkand, though that city was supposedly destroyed a thousand years earlier. Hearing his claim, Yuna knows this is no chance encounter. Her father, Braska, was a summoner before her. Jecht, a man who served as his guardian, also claimed to have come from Zanarkand.
The next day, Yuna and her own guardians—Kimahri, Wakka, and Lulu—set out on a journey to defeat Sin.
Tidus comes along, too, and before long he becomes one of Yuna's guardians. Others join them: a man named Auron who guarded Braska and an Al Bhed girl named Rikku. As time passes, their pilgrimage only becomes more difficult as they are forced to find alternate ways in truly defeating the undefeatable Sin...

Final Fantasy XII:
A world called Ivalice...
An age when magick was commonplace and airships plied the skies...
Our tale begins.
As war looms on the horizon, the mighty Archadian Empire begins a campaign to subjugate its neighbors. The small kingdom of Dalmasca shares their fate. Two years after its fall, in the capital city of Rabanastre, the people line the streets to wait for the appointment of the new consul from Archadia.
To Vaan, a young man living on the streets of Rabanastre, the Empire is a hated enemy who took the life of his brother, the only family he had left. Vaan hatches a plot to break into the palace and take back the spoils of conquest from Dalmasca's occupiers. He gets more than he bargained for when he meets Princess Ashe, the sole surviving heir to the Dalmascan throne, thought dead since the war.
Our story follows Ashe, Vaan and his friend Penelo, the sky pirate Balthier, and his partner Fran. Accompanying them is Basch, a captain of the Dalmascan army who turned traitor and slew his king.
Join them on an adventure spanning Ivalice that traces the mysteries behind the Archadian Empire's invasion.
